Our services

Forensic Data Collection

A forensic data collection exercise is only as good as the strategy behind it. At Arkus, our processes are robust, thorough and defensible, and meet the individual needs of each client.

When it comes to data, there are knowns, there are known unknowns, and there are unknown unknowns. At the start of a process, there’s no telling where the data might lead.

Two types of data are typically collected during forensic data collection - persistent data and volatile date. Persistent data is that which is stored permanently on things like hard drives. Volatile data may change or be erased regularly, and as such requires the very best tools and expertise to recover.
