Additional eDiscovery Services
We have access to the world’s leading collection toolkits, and our team has the experience to use them effectively. We tailor our approach to all matters - with Arkus, there is never a ‘one size fits all’ approach.
We have worked on some of the largest and most high-profile data collections in the history of the industry. We have the capability to work globally, meaning that no matter where in the world the data custodians are, we are able to extract what is needed.
We don’t solely work on enormous cases, though - whether there is one or one thousand custodians involved, we have the experience and approach to ensure that any and all potentially relevant data is collected in a robust and defensible manner.
We can also advise on the best approach to any given matter, which might involve onsite or remote collections.
Forensic Data Collection
A forensic data collection exercise is only as good as the strategy behind it. At Arkus, our processes are robust, thorough and defensible, and meet the individual needs of each client.
When it comes to data, there are knowns, there are known unknowns, and there are unknown unknowns. At the start of a process, there’s no telling where the data might lead.
Two types of data are typically collected during forensic data collection - persistent data and volatile date. Persistent data is that which is stored permanently on things like hard drives. Volatile data may change or be erased regularly, and as such requires the very best tools and expertise to recover.
